Community lunch this Sunday

Once a month, when the Greek priest celebrates with us, a community bring and share lunch is organised. Hence, if you wish to stay after the Liturgy, please bring a little something to be served along tea and coffee. I look forward to seeing you, first for the Divine Liturgy and then, if possible, over a cup of tea.

In Christ, yours,
Fr Liviu

Our church’s new venue in Norwich

As as I have previously informed you, the rising rental costs at St Clements made us look for another location for our church. The Greek community owns a church and has invited us to join. Our parish council has decided to give course to this invitation. Hence, from this Sunday our services will be taking place at the Greek Orthodox Church in Norwich, 3 Recorder Road, NR1 1NR. May God help and bless this new beginning! I look forward to seeing you there.

Father Liviu

PS: There is on Sunday free parking on Recorder Road. The service starts at 10am.

Christmas gifts for poor children in Romania

Children Actions Overseas is organising a charitable action for poor children in Romania.
Those interested in sending a shoebox to Romanian should either email KAOS at ueakaos@gmail.com or join the KAOS Facebook group. KAOS will then send an email with information on what items should be included in the shoebox. For more details please see below. The gift could be left at our church in Norwich before the 2nd of December, when they will be taken to UEA, where our parish representative, Cristina Gherghisan will hand them over to KAOS. For further details please contact Cristina at C.Gherghisan-Filip@uea.ac.uk
